Sarracenia purpurea, the purple pitcher plant, is the carnivorous bog plant of eastern North America: hooded, red-veined leaves that hold rainwater, and one nodding flower in late spring. It has a long place in the herbal traditions of that region, and it is a plant you rarely see in a bottle. Ours is a fresh-plant tincture. Leaf and flower go straight into alkaline water and alcohol, so the extract carries the whole plant rather than a dried powder.

Ingredients: Fresh Sarracenia purpurea leaf & flower, Alkaline Water, Alcohol.
